X Factor 2012: Little Mix haven’t met Simon Cowell but he thinks they’re ‘sub-standard’

Little Mix have admitted that they haven’t yet met their record label boss Simon Cowell.

The girl group shot to fame, when they won The X Factor last month and were automatically signed to the music mogul’s ‘SYCO’ label. However, the TV boss hasn’t had much input in their career or debut album and at last night’s National Television Awards they confessed that they really want to meet Cowell in person.

Perrie Edwards told ITV2 presenter Caroline Flack:

“We haven’t met him yet, we really want to meet him. I’d be really nervous – he’s so lovely but he’d be really intimidating at the same time.”

We understand exactly why they would be nervous, after all just this week Simon has admitted that he thought the acts on last year’s series of the ITV show, were ‘crappy’ and ‘sub-standard.’ It’s hardly a ringing endorsement.

Little Mix took to the stage to perform ‘Don’t Let Go’ at last night’s ceremony at London’s O2 Arena and Jesy Nelson confessed that the thought of the live performance ‘petrified’ them. She explained:

“We never get nervous though. Even at Wembley we didn’t get nervous. But tonight we were petrified.”

Simon cowell needs to say sorry to little mix for saying their c**p

  2. Max King says:

Simon Cowell didn’t insult Little Mix, he actually was backing them from early on and supporting them in the final and called them A revolution.

He just thinks the Final 16 overall was sub par which was true. It’s no sleight on Little Mix or Amelia Lily, Misha even, that the others werent as strong as past years.

the over’s 25 were poor though but simon cowell might have been cross what janet has been saying to the press after she was voted off x factor everyone knows what that is

Little Mix are not that good to be honest. They are in the same league with Steve (the first winner) and Leon Jackson.
