X Factor 2012 live show 2: ‘Timeless Goddess’ Ella Henderson stuns and amazes with Lovin’ You (VIDEO
Ella Henderson had a lot riding on tonight’s X Factor performance and a lot to live up to, after she wowed the judges with her rendition of Rule The World last Saturday.
The 16 year old has been favourite to win the ITV show ever since judges houses a few weeks ago and it seems that even the panel and other contestants see her as the one to beat.
She wasn’t playing it safe in love and heartbreak week either, taking on the wonderfully difficult song Lovin’ You by Minnie Riperton for her second live showcase.
This evening, Ella looked stunning in her floor length white gown, and her sixties style beehive.
But more stunning than her outfit and styling was her voice. We never imagined that she could pull off that song so competently and we were totally amazed by her vocals and also by the almost Amy Winehouse type edge she brought to the track.
JUDGES COMMENTS:
Gary Barlow: Thank you Ella. What a risk you took tonight, forget about the rest of the song, everyone is waiting for the high note. You completely nailed it. Another great week for you.
Louis Walsh: I think you are a worldwide recording artist, I don’t like that you are styled like Adele. I love Ella, but it’s kind of Adele-ish though.
Tulisa: Your stage presence is way beyond your years, not many 16 year olds could stand up there and do what you do.
Nicole Scherzinger: The difference between you and so many artists is you are timeless and classic. You are a timeless goddess tonight.

That was stunning! Loved everything she’s sung so far, even a couple where id got bored of the originals and she brought new meaning with her voice.
