X Factor 2012: Lucy Spraggan & Jade Ellis admit that 16 year old Ella Henderso looks after them!
Lucy Spraggan and Jade Ellis have admitted that despite her young age, Ella Henderson is the mother figure of Team Tulisa.
The three ladies are representing the girls on this year’s series of the X Factor and there has been a lot of concern about how 16 year old Ella is coping with the pressures of the ITV show.
However, speaking on The Xtra Factor this evening, Lucy, 21 and Jade, 25 have admitted that in fact, Henderson is the most mature of the group.
Ella said:
“It’s really weird, out of us three, I’m the one that looks after everyone.”
Lucy laughed:
“She has my hotel room key right now. She’s the most mature and organised.”
Jade said:
“She’s so sensible.”
Lucy had a tough week last week, missing most of the planned rehearsals after she had to travel home to attend her grandmother’s funeral. Despite this, she wowed with an upbeat track last night and admitted that she wanted to make people ‘happy’ rather than wallowing in the sadness. She explained:
“I was really pleased, I didn’t want to go out and do the sad thing so I went out and was happy.”

I enjoyed Lucy’s performance but something about it didnt flow right or I felt a lil bit of a disconnect or like some energy was missing. But this could be because of losing a family member and she has a lot on her mind etc. As for Ella’s performance 1st the negative… performance kinda seemed dated like for lack better words like even thought its retro she could of modernized it made it relevant n current and I dont care for the track unless the original singer or the original singers daughter sings it. Its one those untouchable. That said Ella did really good and I think she will probably win. International artist Idk… she needs to perform more current stuff and sound more current. And plzzzzz plzzz dont turn her into Adele… there is only 1 Adele and we only need 1 Adele.
