X Factor 2012: Lucy Spraggan ‘wanted to leave’ Tulisa’s judges houses!

Lucy Spraggan has admitted that she knew she was messing up her X Factor judges houses performance before she finished her song.

The talented singer songwriter was featured on last night’s episode of the ITV show, performing ‘I Will Always Love You’ for Tulisa and her assistant Tinie Tempah and her version was as different from Whitney Houston’s, as Whit’s was from the original Dolly Parton recording.

Tinie wasn’t sure about Luce’s choice and mused:

‘I don’t know. It’s such a big song to sing.

Tulisa agreed and added:

‘She has her niche and does the niche stand up to the big voices?’

Lucy knew she hadn’t done her best herself and admitted:

“I messed up my timing a little bit and a bit of the notes.”

She added:

“You could tell, I went up there and I wanted to go. I just wanted to leave whereas every other time I’ve been on stage I’ve gone ‘oh my God, this is amazing.’”

Viewers will find out tonight if Lucy made Tulisa’s final three and won a place in the live shows. Before finding out, Spraggan wasn’t confident that she’d done enough and confessed:

“Today I don’t think in the slightest I have done as good as I can. Quite possibly there’s a chance that I’ve jeopardised my position.”

Do you think Lucy deserves a place in the live shows? Leave your comments below….

Meanwhile, as we prepare for the final judges houses episode of the show to air tonight, Unreality TV have put together out predictions for his year’s X Factor final 12. Have a look and tell us if you agree!

I don’t think Lucy has got a strong enough voice compare with other singers, She unique and is good at singing her own songs in her own quirky way. She reminds me of a stand up comic who’s routine is in song I don’t think she’s the type or would even like be a Cowell puppet/karaoke singer

How many more chances is Lucy Spraggan going to get…..
Don’t forget she messed up in the last round before coming out to Judges houses !!!
Shes good very good but would make a great comedienne

  6. Kendall says:

she deserves chances. talant shows not only in singing. she has talant

  7. Kendall says:

    she has talant, it shows

  8. Ronnie says:

Lucy is the most unique person ever to appear on X factor. She’s not some pop-star wannabe clone, she’s a real person. She won’t win, for exactly those reasons — they want a clone every year — but she should go through to the live shows to give us a chance to see more of her

  9. marie says:

no lucy got her second chance at bootcamp.plus she will not transition into the weekly genres and in my opinion has taken the place of a more versatile and deserving contestant.Lucy is talented but she is a one trick pony and Tulisa has left herself vulnerable as jade ellis has a weak voice that breaks when she sings.

  10. Jez says:

Specking from a producers point of view….. she’s simply not versatile enough for the show!
