Nicole Scherzinger has reportedly made herself a few enemies in Dubai, where she has been busy filming her X Factor judges houses scenes.

We reported yesterday that the former Pussycat Dolls star was joined by American rapper and singer Ne-Yo as she chose her final boys who will make it through to the live shows in October. Xtra Factor presenter Caroline Flack and main show host Dermot O’Leary are also with the brunette beauty at her plush hotel.

However it was claimed that after producers spent one and a half hours filming Nicole’s entrance to the hotel by boat, some of the residents became incredibly annoyed.

They had shelled out thousands of pounds to stay at the resort, but many other boat users were banned from docking their vehicles until ITV were finished their work.

One onlooker told The Sun:

“Several of the hotel’s residents were kept waiting for more than an hour while they were trying to get back to their five-star suites after an afternoon jaunt.”

“They weren’t happy – these fantastically rich people are not used to being told they can’t do what they want.”

The source added:

“But filming such an ambitious entrance takes a long time and the hotel were more than happy for The X Factor to take over the jetty and the harbour until they had everything they needed.”

An ITV source said that while they were possibly disruptive to other guests, the filming will be worth it when the scenes are shown on TV. They insisted:

“It was a hell of an entrance – it’ll be TV gold when it’s eventually shown.”

The X Factor crew and staff will be returning to London within the next few days and over the next month Louis Walsh,. Gary Barlow and Tulisa will all film their final audition scenes.

Gary Barlow will make his choices in London and will be assisted by his fellow Take That star Robbie Williams.

Louis Walsh will work with former X Factor judge Sharon Osbourne in Las Vegas, choosing which groups he wants for the live shows, while Tulisa Contostavlos will take off to the luxury resort of St Lucia, assisted by Tinie Tempah.

The series is still airing audition shows and will move into the bootcamp and judges houses stages next month. Live shows are expected to kick off in October.
