X Factor 2012: Nicole Scherzinger thinks Rylan Clark could be the next Robbie Williams – He thinks Gary Barlow was drunk!

Nicole Scherzinger has claimed that Rylan Clark is the only contestant on this year’s X Factor series who could hope to pull off a performance as good as Robbie Williams’ last night
The former Take That star took to the stage to perform his new single ‘Candy’ and during his appearance he straddled Louis Walsh, accosted some audience members and all without missing a beat of the tune.
It was certainly an interesting appearance and speaking afterwards on The Xtra Factor, when asked if any of this year’s hopefuls could hope to be as entertaining, Nicole said:
“I think Rylan could put on a performance like that.”
Comparing Robbie and Rylan, she added:
“They are both fun, they are both infectious, they would both rock a nice bejazzled trousers I think. They are not safe and they are playful.”
It seems that Rob believes in Clark too, as during his performance last night he pleaded with viewers to vote for the controversial model.
Scherzinger also insisted that despite what’s being reported in the newspapers, she does believe that Rylan could go on to win the series in December.
It had been claimed that the brunette beauty was pushing James Arthur and Jahmene Douglas towards the final, believing that Clark was only in the competition for his novelty value.
However, when asked if she thought Katie Price’s pal could win, she said:
“Well yes, he’s not working hard to try to lose in this competition now is he? Rylan is infectious and there are a lot of Rylan believers out there.”
Meanwhile, Rylan has admitted that he was shocked by Gary Barlow’s critique of his performance on Saturday night’s show.
After his mashup of ‘Horny’ and his mentor’s song ‘Poison’, the dad of three was unusually positive and said:
“I owe you an honest critique… It wasn’t any worse than last week, that’s a good thing and the music was so loud I couldn’t hear you singing…that was a good thing. And the dancers were good, I loved the dancers.”
His comments left the hopeful thrilled but suspicious and he joked:
“I’m loving life. Gary has obviously had a lot to drink tonight, seriously. He has been quite alright to be, I don’t know what’s wrong.”
We think Gaz was hoping that if he was nice, people would stop giving Rylan the sympathy vote and he’d be in the bottom two. He didn’t count on the Robbie effect though.

Rylan is a great entertainer for a night or so. No offense intended if he wins then The xFactor has to rethink what criteria they use.
Melanie’s ,Jade’s voice and others are timeless.
One think more …Tulisa called the 80′s 90′s old times but hey the majority of population is older than 20. Need to remember that when air our opinion and more when you are a judge. all in good spirit always xxx
Last year, Tulisa didn’t even knew what Songs was sung by the contestants. She isn’t really a qualified judge! I must say, her knowledge about Music is really limited! And then, she criticized Gary, although she has no idea!
Completely agree Ginga. Little Miss Full of Herself seemed very annoyed that Chris had a “strong following”. Perhaps she should ask for an earlier time slot so her target audience don’t have to stay up after their bedtimes.
Did you notice that when Louis talked about Rylan it did not matter about his voice, but when it came to Chris they were looking for a recording voice. Hypocritical or what?
I haven’t seen any Artist in the whole universe, so self-absorbed, arrogant, boastful, envious, as Robbie Williams…i really wish that he wouldn’t make it in the USA!
It’s so funny to read that Nicole thinks Rylan could be the second Robbie Williams…Oh, yeah…that means Nicole thinks ( also) that Robbie Williams is a real GAY as Rylan! Damn, the truth is revealed!
