X Factor 2012: Nicole Scherzinger thinks UK series is ‘more fun’, loved ‘ruthless’ Mel B and talks ‘soul cycling’ with Scott Mills!

Nicole Scherzinger packs a lot into her day and as well as performing regular gig sand taking part in frequent photo shoots the X Factor judge is currently working on her new album with Black Eyed Peas star will.i.am and starts each morning with a bout of soul cycling.

We don’t know where she gets the energy!

The brunette beauty was of course a judge on the US version of the talent show last year. She was sacked by Simon Cowell in January and then transplanted onto ITV’s series in June.

Speaking to Scott Mills earlier today, the former Pussycat Dolls star claimed that she was happy with the move, because she finds the British show much more ‘fun.’

During her Radio 1 interview, Nicole said:

‘I think it’s more fun over here [the UK], there’s a lot more characters, the talent is really raw and home grown … it’s beautiful the talent over here, I’m REALLY impressed. I’m blown away.’

Scherzinger is also a big fan of her fellow judges Gary Barlow, Tulisa and Louis Walsh, adding:

‘I love all the other Judges, I do, I get along really well with them….I’d never met Tulisa but she’s such a cool chick.’

Nicole will return to our screens on tomorrow night’s episode of The X Factor but in some of the auditions her seat will be filled by other guest judges. She loves the fact that the different personalities ‘mix it up’ with the format and enjoys watching the other stars interact.

‘I think it’s great that they got to have people like Mel B and Anastacia and I know they have a lot of other Guest Judges coming up too so they get to mix it up,’ she explained, continuing:

‘Mel B was ruthless I loved it! … she gave Simon Cowell a run for his money.’

The ‘Don’t Hold Your Breath’ singer is currently in LA and will catch up with tomorrow night’s show at home in America. Describing her average day in the US, she told Scott:

‘I’ll probably get in at about 5am and then wake up in a few hours and then go to soul cycling and be in the studio by noon.

‘Soul cycling is this thing that started in New York and they just brought it to LA and I want to bring it to London. It’s spinning class, it’s super cool, it’s like beyond spinning, it’s like a club and it’s like only candle lit, and it’s like inspiring and empowering, they’re like ‘be the warrior’, ‘you can do it’ ‘let go of your demons’ ‘raaaaaaaar’.’

She laughed:

‘I swear to you it’s spinning and therapy at the exact same time.’
