X Factor 2012: Pink impersonator Zoe Alexander causes mayhem after audition goes wrong!

Zoe Alexander is set to be featured on tonight’s X Factor show and we don’t think she’ll come out of the experience looking too good.

The Pink impersonator tried out for the ITV show recently, singing her idol’s hit single ‘So What’ and looking very much like the American star. She admitted beforehand that she wanted to shine in her own right and move away from being known as a Pink wannabe, however perhaps turning up styled like the mum of one and singing one of her best known songs wasn’t the best way to do it.

After her rendition of the song, the judges looked a little unimpressed and Tulisa said that while she ‘liked’ Zoe’s image, she felt like she was just watching a Pink impersonator and not a singer in their own right.

Louis Walsh added:

‘It’s the X Factor not Stars In Your Eyes.’

The judges agreed to let Alexander have another chance and this time she belted out Emeli Sande’s ‘Next To Me’ for the panel.

However, this wasn’t well received either and afterwards Nicole Scherzinger said:

‘I like your energy and you have a pretty good voice but you need to find yourself as an artist.’

Gary Barlow agreed and said:

‘You need to find your own lane and what’s right for your voice.’

Louis Walsh wasn’t anymore complimentary and added:

‘Your vocal was very average. i think in time you could be great but you need to work on it.’

The feedback, although not terrible, apparently wasn’t what Zoe wanted to hear and the hopeful burst into angry tears shouting ‘You made me sing it! You told me to sing a Pink song.’

She continued wailing:

‘I wanted to be me.’

The judges insisted that they hadn’t directed her at all and in fact helped her out by giving her the chance to sing a second, non Pink, song. But Zoe was having none of it. She started to smash up the stage, pushing two camera men, shoving past Dermot O’leary, swearing at the judges and even bringing her dad out to get in on the act too, after she threw her mic in their direction.

Tulisa yelled at her to stay on the stage, later claiming that she was only defending poor old Louis.

Tune into the X Factor tonight to see her full audition, her temper tantrum and the judges’ reaction. We can tell you this, Dermot did not look pleased and neither were the police when they got involved!

Do you think Zoe was at fault? Leave your comments below…

Many of these acts get encouraged to do certain things by the shows Directors like argue with the judges etc & she was probably told by one of them to sing the Pink song… often they get set up for the purpose of having a bit of drama on the show… prospective auditionees should be aware of this

  2. Alma Lewis says:

If she was my daughter I would have taken her back on stage too – to apologise!
If she acts like aspoilt brat at her interview then pity help anyone who upsets her if she ever gets famous.

  3. Marie says:

Cannot believe how someone can act, and parents didnt seem to bothered, i would of marched her back to say sorry to judges and the audiance, think that her tribute carear could be on a downward slope, and she will have no one to blame but herself

  4. Louise says:

Even if the producers told her to sing a pink song she was still an aggressive psycho with zero self respect or dignity. That was a crazy tantrum, what a freak

  5. Lucy says:

I don’t believe her, or her parents for that matter, I thought the judges comments were actually generous, her voice clearly wasn’t up to scratch. I thought her parents would be better than that too (well, her father) as he dragged her back up on the stage, just for the judges to hear a filthy over use of profanities. She just wanted more than five minutes of fame, and she got it, but for all the wrong reasons!

  6. Emma says:

Shocking way to act if I ever acte like that half my family would be lining up to give my a slap and I wouldnt blame them.

She’s gonna find herself with no singing career because nobody in their right mind with even entertain her now

    What a Diva!!!!!

  7. Mandy says:

I’m not condoning her awful actions, but like most of last night’s show, it did seem staged. It really wouldn’t surprise me if the producers told Zoe to sing So What (how apt it featured the line ‘I’m going to start a fight’) so the judges could slam her and provoke a dramatic reaction for the first show of the new series of this somewhat struggling and tired format. Saying that, her massive tantrum looked real and it made for very uncomfortable viewing. I think it’s fair to say her tribute act career is over.

  8. Scotch says:

Even if I did for some unknown reason want to book a Pink tribute act, I certainly wouldn’t book her now. A tribute act should be able to sing anyway. And as for her parents… I have a funny feeling they have seen that sort of behaviour before as they didnt seem too shocked even her Dad said ‘ come on zoe, lets just leave it’ before actually marching on stage to defend his poor little 5yr old daughter lol

  9. Kay says:

I assumed her dad was dragging her back to apologise. I was wrong her parents are vile like her. She obviously has issues! People like that family give GB a bad name.

  10. Tom G says:

    She should be sectioned!

haha this was brilliant, I just saw the audition on you tube as I saw it on my news feed, I work in the Rock industry and this is amazing, totally different from the usual nancy crap that the show usually has even though it was staged, well done Zoe!

  12. Tim says:

It was clear to see she`d been stitched up and made a fool of in front of thousands of people. If somebody did that to me i`d be smashing that mic over their heads.

what an awful person. She should be ashamed of herself, children watch this show – is that how adults should behave when they don’t get their own way?. If she was my friend i would never be associated with her again. If she was my family i would be embarrassed. Horrible girl. Can’t sing, doesn’t even look like Pink. I could go on…. she needs arresting for the damage she caused and held to account. Her dad should be mortified.IF she works as a tribute act i’m sure this outburst will do her publicity the world of good. Dross

  14. M.hamilton says:

She is a disgrace. It I blame her parents. Dragged up with no respect, I thought her father was taking her back out there to apologies for flinging the mike. She reminds me of that Veruca salt in willy wonky and the chocolate factory!!! Grow up
