It’s been confirmed today that US pop singer Pink – whose real name is Alecia Beth Moore – will perform on The X Factor’s live shows in December.

She of course joins a whole host of music biz stars who’re lined up to perform, including the show’s judge Tulisa, and it’s been rumoured that the show’s bosses are in the process of signing up former finalists JLS and Rebecca Ferguson as well as previous winners Leona Lewis and Little Mix.

In addition, it’s been reported that teen sensations One Direction will sing live, as will The Wanted and Robbie Williams. This year’s guest judge Rita Ora is likewise tipped to be performing, as is Xtra Factor co-host Olly Murs.

But of Pink’s confirmation that she’ll perform on the show, when asked if there were any plans to have her duet with the show’s hopefuls, she said that there weren’t adding, “I’m awkward enough on stage when I’m by myself.”

She added, “I performed with a contestant on another show once and it was so uncomfortable.”

Guess it’s a good job that Pink impersonator Zoe Alexander didn’t get through then, or she may have ended up having to dodge a duet with her!

However, while appearing on Alan Carr’s chat show, Chatty Man, Pink reckoned that she’d found Zoe “cute” despite the fact that the wannabe had behaved abominably when the judges rejected her after her audition.

Pink told Alan, “She’s cute. I think it’s interesting that the one person who impersonated me has to attack the set and be an a**hole!”
