X Factor 2012: Poor old Christopher Maloney is ‘shattered’ and alone
Christopher Maloney has had a busy couple of days.
The X Factor star spent Monday and Tuesday in Disneyland Paris, only returning to London this morning. As soon as he disembarked the Eurostar Chris was straight into rehearsals for this weekend’s show and told his fans on twitter:
“Morning guys, just back from disneyland paris! Was different, enjoyed myself, just off right to rehearsals. Love u xx”
He spent the whole day practicing his guilty pleasures song for Saturday and routining for his performance but it seems that the process is beginning to take it’s toll and later in the afternoon the 34 year old returned to the social networking site and confessed:
“Afternoon everyone, im shattered lol.”
“just wanna say, thank u all for ur love an support, u really are gettin me thru this! Think u amazin x
For now Chris is going it alone as his mentor Gary Barlow is performing at a series of solo concerts. Last night he was on stage in Bournemouth and tonight the Take That star will sing in Plymouth.
Maloney will run his song past him on Friday and tweeted him good luck saying:
“Good luck @GBarlowOfficial for your concert tonight, see u friday xx”
Bookies have been readjusting their odds this week and Chris no longer remains the outsider in terms of who is expected to win the X Factor next month.
Jahmene Douglas is top of the list, with odds of 6/4 Jahmene Douglas and Ella Henderson is in second place at 13/8. With odds of 3/1 is 23 year old James Arthur and following close behind is Liverpudlian Chris at 14/1.
Union J are trailing behind at 16/1, but Rylan looks set to leave at 66/1.
