X Factor 2012: Pussycat Doll Kaya Jones blasts ‘Nicole Scherzinger was always someone who wanted to be in the spotlight’
Nicole Scherzinger has implied that she was the only one who really worked or sang during her days with the Pussycat Dolls, but it seems that some of her former bandmates have a different version of events.
The X Factor judge claimed that she did 95% of the singing when she was in the girl group and said that she was the only member who had any control at all over what sort of music they released.
However, Kaya Jones insists that her recent claims are just the latest evidence of Nicole’s desperation to be in the spotlight and admitted that she was upset to hear the brunette beauty describe her and her pals as mere ‘window dressings’.
The professional dancer told Metro:
‘There was a lot more going on behind the scenes. Nicole was always someone who wanted to be in the spotlight and would do pretty much anything to get it.
‘To call the other girls in the Pussycat Dolls ‘window dressings’ is a bit far-fetched … every girl in the group was talented.’
Scherzinger had previously boasted:
‘I was in the centre because I was singing.’
Speaking about their 2005 album, she added:
‘I brought the girls into the studio and we played it for them. It was the first time they’d ever heard the music.’
Nicole has more to worry about tonight than her old bandmates and gripes they have that stretch back for half a decade though, she has to get her thinking hat on and somehow, reingratiate Rylan Clark with the X Factor voters.
The former model ended up in the bottom two on last night’s show and performed in the sing off along with Carolynne Poole. He scraped through to next week’s show by the skin of his teeth and if he wants to remain in the competition he and his mentor are going to have to ship up some serious support over the next six days.

Now…who wants to be on the spotlight at Nicoles expense? who is this Kayajones? people dont even know she was at the PCD!
Kaya Jones is actually very, very talented. I’ve seen her perform live and she still travels all over the world doing gigs. She recently did a successful and massive solo tour of Asia.

Cheryl was fired and it was a few weeks later after they couldn’t find anyone else that they decided to hire Scherzinger on the American panel.
Same with UK X factor, after Kelly left, they offered it to lots of others instead first, most notably Dannii and then just gave it to Nicole again as there wasn’t really anyone else to do it. None of the guest judges apart from Mel B really worked.
Would have loved Mel B, but don’t think she’d do it full time as the producers would try to control her comments and I don’t think she’d like that.
Kaya never made the final 6(she’s a weak singer and an even weaker dancer)who went on and became the Pussycat Dolls so she’s still using their name trying to get her 15 minutes of fame.
Every time she has something new to release(that nobody cares for)she puts this story out to get attention.
It’s been 9 years and I think it’s time for her to get over it already. You just weren’t good enough, Kaya. give it up.

Guys stop and get facts, it was Nicole who started bashing everyone, the other Dolls moved on with their lives, and NEVER made rude statements toward Nicole, but Nicole was losing the spotlight , so she just brought up something random to get media to say her name , everyone around her keeps saying it, but some people just dont listen…NICOLE ALWAYS WANTS TO BE IN THE SPOTLIGHT , AND SHE WILL DO ANYTHING TO GET IT !!
