Tulisa Contostavlos has been explaining what she would like to see on Ella Henderson’s debut album.
The X Factor star is currently the bookies favourite to win the series next month and Tulisa seems sure that whether she does or not, someone will sign her after the show.
She says she wants the talented teen to ‘have fun’ with her first record and to mix up the style of music she includes on it.
Speaking on The Xtra Factor the brunette beauty said:
“I think that when she does more mature songs and it’s all about the vocals, there is a certain genre of audience that really appreciates that, but because she’s young as well, she should also have fun.”
“There is nothing wrong with a bit of a mix and match album. I’ve released them myself as a solo artist, all my singles have been completely different. It all depends on what her fan base want from her.”
Ella’s fans seemed to appreciate one of her own upbeat songs that she showcased on The Xtra Factor last night, which she revealed was written for her father. We think she has this one in the bag!
Meanwhile, Tulisa also admitted that she was surprised with the results of last night’s show.
Louis Walsh found himself in an impossible position when both his groups – Union J and District 3 – ended up in the bottom two and his pal confessed that she was as shocked as him.
“I honestly had no idea but I didn’t think both of Louis’ groups would be in the bottom two. You never know who people are liking at home you really don’t.”
The N-Dubz star added:
“I am very grateful though that everyone has stuck by Ella until this point of the competition.”
What sort of music would you like to see on Ella’s album? Should she persevere with her own material or stick to the covers she’s been performing on TV?
