Rylan Clark has been singing the praises of his X Factor mentor, Nicole Scherzinger.
The former model has faced quite a tough time since joining the ITV competition and has faced more than his far share of criticism and online hate and speaking on tonight’s Xtra Factor he said the Pussycat Doll star has looked after him brilliantly.
“Nicole has been fantastic to all of us, especially with what’s going on. She’s really helped me, she’s been brilliant.”
Tonight the dramatic singer took to the stage to perform a crazy medley of dance songs and although he was slated – again – by Take That star Gary Barlow, he says he had an immense amount of fun….dancing pandas and all!
“I had the time of my life!”
“I’ve had a hectic week, it’s not been nice but I could sit and sulk about it or go out there and enjoy myself and tonight is the first time throughout this competition I have thought ‘forget about it, live it up and have some fun.’

Meanwhile, it’s been revealed that poor old James Arthur isn’t too well.
He wowed the judges with his version of ‘No More Drama’ this week and Louis Walsh praised him saying:
“James that was powerful, emotional, you are a real artist, you’ve got real talent. That could be a hit again.”
However, it seems the 23 year old was feeling a little worse for wear when he came off stage and Caroline Flack explained to Xtra Factor viewers:
“James Arthur is feeling a little bit unwell, so he’s gone to see someone to make him feel better.”
We heard that the talented performer was taken away from the studios in an ambulance. We’ll bring you more details as they come in but for now, get well soon James!
