X Factor 2012: Rylan Clark subjected to death threats & he wanted Louis Walsh as a mentor!
As fans of The X Factor will know, singer Rylan Clark made it through to this year’s Judges’ Houses round, however, the decision by the judges to keep Rylan in the contest while other singers such as Jade Richards and Joe Whelan were axed, has proven to be a controversial one.
However, sadly, some X Factor fans have made Rylan a subject of online hate ever since, and in today’s Daily Star, the camp singer has revealed that he’s even received death threats.
He said, “I’ve had a couple of death threats. But I don’t care. I want X Factor more than anything in the world.”
He added, “People think I’m there for a joke but I will be the hardest working person in it.”
We will of course see Rylan in this weekend’s X Factor shows as he travels to Dubai with mentor Nicole Scherzinger, hoping to win a place in the show’s live rounds…
However, it seems that Rylan was hoping he’d be in Louis Walsh’s category.
He explained to The Sun, “If someone had asked me to list the judges in order, I’d have put Louis first.
“He knows there’s money to be made from people like me.
“I’m not comparing myself to Jedward – but they didn’t have a great first audition and now the kids are worth millions.
“That’s why I wanted Louis.”
Are you hoping that Rylan gets through to the live shows? And don’t forget, this weekend, we’ll see which four Wildcard acts the judges are bringing back to the show to face a public vote!
Meanwhile, as we prepare for the judges houses episodes of the show to air tonight, Unreality TV have put together out predictions for his year’s X Factor final 12. Have a look and tell us if you agree!

As usual x factor is a fix…..every year we have to have controversy to get the ratings up. I thought it was supposed to be about finding Britians hidden talent, not to see how much money Simon Cowall can earn to inflate his bank balance with all the phone money’s, advertising etc. We all know Rylan can’t sing, his personality and the way he acts gives gay people a bad press. Do yourselves a favour and boycott the programme until sense prevails.
Jedward have many talents and have worked extremely hard to earn those millions, Louis walsh might be good, but he is not a miracle worker! he can only work with what he is given
Rylan should be given the same chance as everyone else & being gay has nothing to do with his singing. There are some serious sick weirdo’s out there with nothing better to do other than to sit oppsite their screens/push a few buttons on mobiles in order to inflict insults on their fellow humans – mabe they are so sad this is the only way of ‘enjoyment’ and, I bet they are ugly, fat, can’t carry a tune and no doubt envious of Rylans’ air-time. Good luck Rylan and may the best person/s get through.
