X Factor 2012: Sharon Osbourne thinks ‘GMD3 are a delight’ – not sure about ‘edgy’ Duke & ‘freak’ Poisonous Twin
GMD3 may have scraped a place at X Factor judges houses by the skin of their teeth but it seems that they proved they deserved to be there when they performed for Louis Walsh in Las Vegas recently.
The three piece boyband – consisting of Greg 18, Mickey 18, Dan 19 from Windsor; Mitsotu: James 22, Holly 22, Jimmy 23 from Harrow/Kent- almost didn’t make it past bootcamp, as the judges made them go head to head with Triple J in an acapella sing off, before they would award them a place in the next round, however Louis was glad he put them through when he heard the sing God Bless the Broken Road by Rascal Flatts for a second time.
After the lads performed for the Irish star and his assistant Sharon Osbourne, the former X Factor judge almost melted and raved about the boys saying:
‘They are just a delight. You can tell they take it seriously.’
Sharon wasn’t so sure however about girl group Poisonous Twin – Sophie 21, Hattie 23 from Liverpool – who sang ‘Freak like Me’ by The Sugababes, or about Duke, who took on ‘The Way You Make Me Feel’ by Michael Jackson.
After Duke’s song, Walsh exclaimed:
‘Sharon what was that?! What was that noise?!’
Osbourne added: They’re very very edgy.
Tune into the X Factor tonight to see Duke, Poisonous Twin and GMD3 perform and tomorrow to find out if they have done enough to win a place in the live shows.
Meanwhile, as we prepare for the judges houses episodes of the show to air tonight, Unreality TV have put together out predictions for his year’s X Factor final 12. Have a look and tell us if you agree!
