X Factor 2012: Shows will air on Saturday and Sunday as of next week! Woop!
As we reported earlier today, viewing figures for The X Factor are – just like the Bad Moon in Steppenwolf’s classic track – on the rise, which has probably come as a huge relief to ITV execs who would have been forgiven for going to Def Con Brown after the show’s 2012 debut failed to set the ratings alight.
However, more and more viewers are sure to be tuning week on week now as the show approaches the Boot Camp, Judges’ Houses and ultimately, the live rounds…
And as of next weekend, there are to be shows on both Saturday and Sunday, given that there are a total of seven edition’s worth of auditions rounds material to air, and we have as yet seen just three.
Also ahead of course are yet more appearances from guest judges, including Leona Lewis, and reappearances on the panel from Rita Ora, Mel B, Anastacia, Geri Halliwell and finally, the installment of new judge Nicole Scherzinger…
The show begins airing the live rounds in October, and as ever, the series will end its current run in December when whoever wins will be hoping to secure the coveted No1 spot on the singles’ chart.
However, as mentioned, we’ve a ways to go before then, and in the meantime, you can click here to see which judge will mentor which category, and where they’ll all be taking their acts for the Judges’ Houses round as well as which music biz celeb will help them out in making their decisions.
