X Factor 2012: Simon Cowell is back! (PICTURES)
After narrowing down the contestants to just 24 places through to the judges houses, who better to reveal to the X Factor judges the category they will be mentoring for the rest of the competition than Simon Cowell.
The music mogul will make his first appearance on the current series of the ITV show this evening, informing Tulisa, Gary Barlow, Nicole Scheriznger and Louis Walsh which categories they would be mentoring this year.
This is the first time we have seen Simon back on the UK show in 2012, as the TV boss has been busy concentrating on the US version of the show on which he is joined by Britney Spears, Demi Lovato and L.A Reid.
At the end of tonight’s episode, we see Simon delivering the news on which category each judge will be mentoring as he calls them individually from Miami, where he was shooting for XF USA.
