Simon Cowell may claim that the recent biography about his life was unauthorised, but some insiders insist that nothing could be further from the truth.

The X Factor boss allowed author Tom Bowers unprecedented access to his private life and inner circle for the book ‘Sweet Revenge: The Intimate Life of Simon Cowell ‘ and some sources have claimed that despite the fall out and the scandal, he is working with Tom again on a paperback update to the novel.

Simon’s PR man Max Cliiford insisted that the music mogul had very little to do with the book when it was released earlier this year, however Dan Wootton of The Daily Mail insists that Cowell is in cahoots with Bower again and this time, wants him to write about what happened when the original version hit the shelves.

It is said that the updated paperback will detail how Dannii Minogue reacted to the revelation of their affair and how that affected her negotiations with ITV about an X Factor return.

It is also claimed that Cowell will reveal details of how he managed to land ‘Toxic’ hitmaker Britney Spears as a judge on the U.S. version of the show.

A source says: ‘Tom is back with Simon. He believes the paperback of the book could be just as dramatic, Simon is quite fond of him.’

Poor Dannii won’t be pleased!

Her big sister Kylie admitted yesterday that the whole furore had really ‘hurt’ the mum of one, especially as the scandal came just weeks after she had split from her baby daddy Kris Smith.

Talking about Simon and his motivation, Kylie said:

“He doesn’t need to do those things. Or maybe he does. Who knows?.. who knows? I don’t know the guy.”
