Dale Ali is all set to make his big X Factor debut on tonight’s show.

The 17 year old singer tried out for the ITV show earlier this year and tried to better his chances of making bootcamp by paying special attention to one of the panel. Insiders told Unreality TV that during his audition, the handsome performer made an approach to the judges desk and sang directly to Tulisa Contostavlos, while holding her hand.

Ali sang Olly Murs’ ‘Thinking Of Me’ when he performed in Newcastle for Gary Barlow, Tulisa, Louis Walsh and Nicole Scherzinger.

He sang directly to Contostavlos and even changed the lyrics for the then brunette beauty.

After his performance, Tulisa said:

‘I absolutely loved it, it’s a yes from me.’

Louis added:

‘Some people have a natural charm and you have a natural charm….you have four yeses!’

It seems that Dale is a little nervous about appearing on TV for the first time and after sharing a picture of him on the big stage, he tweeted his followers today saying:

‘scared about tonight:( don’t want to feel like ima let people down as I’ve got better since xfactor:( #ffs’

He added:

‘good morning!:-) today feels so tense like I’ve sold out the 02 Arena and whoever can watch x-factor is going;) eee! #oneday’

Viewers will find out tonight if Dale made it through to bootcamp and if he has and gets past that stage, the hopeful singer will be mentored by Nicole Scherzinger who has landed the boys category this year.
