Nicole Scherzinger has reportedly told X Factor bosses that she wants Tinie Tempah to assist her at judges’ houses this year.

The new judge on the talent show will soon film her last audition stage of the ITV series and will have a famous music star at her side as she makes her final decision on which contestants wil win a place in the live shows.

After landing the boys category, insiders claim that the Pussycat Dolls star wants a male singer to assist her in her choices and has her eye on ‘Written In The Stars’ hitmaker.

A source told The Sun that the American performer feels that she needs a “current” male at her side, when she tapes the tryouts in a few weeks time and claimed that as well as Tinie, Nicole also suggested Professor Green,Labrinth and 50 Cent.

A show source said: “Nicole has the boys and, while she prides herself on being able to spot male talent, she knows having a bloke at her side will help. Bosses have come up with several options but Tinie is the one she is keen on, so hopefully he will be free.”

Gary Barlow will reportedly mentor the overs this year and insiders have claimed that he will be assisted by Take That co star Robbie Williams.

Louis Walsh will take on the groups and though his assistant has not been revealed, we wouldn’t be at all surprised if it was either Sharon Osbourne or a Westlife singer.

Tulisa will coach the girls.
