X Factor 2012: Tulisa calls Cher Lloyd urine bottling ‘adult bullying’!

Tulisa Contostavlos is livid over Cher Lloyd’s treatement at V Festival last weekend.

The teenage singer took to the stage but before she got even half way through her set, she ran off in tears after the crowd turned against her. The jeered, they shouted abuse and some even threw bottles filled with urine at the X factor star.

The ITV judge has spoken out about the incident and said that people need to keep in mind what age Cher is.

She defended the 18 year old singer, insisting that the audience’s reaction towards the Malvern singer was a form of ‘adult bullying’ and added ‘ people need to remember that she’s only young’.

Tulisa was at the event and partied the night away with one Direction’s Niall Horan and Xtra Factor star Caroline Flack. She insisted that Cher’s treatement was totally ‘ridiculous’, explaining:

“I just call it adult bullying, it’s ridiculous. You think when you get older people get over that sort of stuff and people forget how young she is and vulnerable.”

Chatting to Capital FM, she admitted that she has faced the same challenges herself on stage, and added:

“I get bottles thrown at me all the time, but I’m so used to it that I’m just ducking and diving and carry on singing.”

“You know me, I’ll have a go at the person who does it anyway so it doesn’t really bother me as much.”

She continued: “But for someone like her, I just think, she’s only young. It’s out of order.”

To her credit, the ‘Swagger Jagger’ hitmaker did manage to compose herself backstage and returned to perform the rest of her set a few minutes after storming off.

Yesterday, The Voice coach Danny O’Donoghue spoke out in her defence too, while Example and Professor Green said that fans need to be a little more gentle with younger stars.

Poor Cher. Do you think she deserved that treatement? Leave your comments below…
