X Factor bootcamp is over and it seems that come of the judges are sad to see the hopefuls go.

Tulisa Contostavlos, Nicole Scherzinger, Gary Barlow and Louis Walsh had to whittle down hundreds of hopefuls to just 32 before taking their remaining singers to judges houses.

The auditions were held in Liverpool this week, and culminated in a huge round of public tryouts in Echo Arena and included in the bunch of contestants were some new mixed sex groups made up by the panel from unsuccessful solo singers.

Tulisa showed off her newly blonde hair at the event and tweeted this evening saying:

And boot camp comes to an end. What a great week!

She also shared this picture of her and fellow judge Nicole.

Nicole also seemed chuffed with how things turned out and wrote:

‘Great week so far at XF boot camp here in Liverpool. Its tough but I’m so impressed with the talent here in the UK! Get some rest n let’s get to work tomm Xo’

Tulisa also hinted that some pretty amazing things happened up in Liverpool and that there were various twists and turns along the way. She tweeted:

‘U know when u get that overwhelming feeling that EVERYTHING happens 4 a reason..I get it all the time..but 2day its pretty intense ; )’
