Tulisa Contostavlos is never far from scandal it would seem.

The X Factor judge has only just emerged from her sex tape furore and now she’s been caught up in another controversy, after she offended some fans when filming her latest music video.

The brunette beauty makes much of her working class background and likes to remind people that she’s from da streets and all that, however she may have went too far when she made the symbol of a violent London gang this week.

Tulisa was filming on the Church Road estate in Harlesdon, North West London when fans noticed her making a C-shape sign with her hands. It is well known to locals as the sign of a volatile and troublesome gang named The Crime Scene Boys, or The Church Road Boys.

An onlooker told The Sun: “She was strutting around throwing gang signs and hanging around outside the blocks of flats.

“She was swearing and trying to fit in with the other people who were around her from the estate.

“Making the C-sign is what people do when they are a member of the Crime Scene Boys. It’s a real mistake.”

Tulisa has since spoke out and insisted that she intended the sign to represent the streets of Camden and not any gang and told the newspaper:

“When I was holding my hands in the C-sign, this was as a tribute to Camden, my home town and where N-Dubz began. I am not aware that this sign has anything to do with any street gang and I 100 per cent do not endorse any gang violence in any form.”

Contostavlos already caused controversy this week, when she tweeted a picture of herself and two female friends.

She wrote ‘Ello…….my names tulisa…….used 2 b in the ndubz…….just doin this now…’ and shared a picture of her and the two black women all showing their forearms to the camera. Her’s had her usual ‘Female Boss’ tattoo, while the other two ladies had penned messages on theirs saying:

‘Check this chav to my left,’ and:

‘She’s my only white mate!’

Many fans complained on the social networking site, prompting the X Factor judge to reply:

‘Any1 that didn’t crack up at that last tweet and took it seriously is an alien….just being an alien now’

She’s such a rebel!
