It seems that Tulisa Contostavlos is a convert…a Chris convert.

Every week on The X Factor the N-Dubz star slates the 34 year old singer calling him cheesy and dated but on tonight’s guilty pleasures special she was definitely a bit more positive.

After he sang ‘Turn Around’ for the judges, the brunette beauty said:

“We’ve established that I won’t be buying the album but putting that aside, you are always consistent and I think you sounded really good.”

High praise from a former hater we think you will agree!

Speaking on The Xtra Factor afterwards, Contostavlos even denied claims that the Liverpudlian hopeful is getting sympathy votes and when a caller asked if that was how he had stayed in the competition for so long she said:

“It’s a possibility but I have a little bit more faith in the public that they wouldn’t vote someone in just because someone else didn’t find him their cup of tea.”

She added:

“I think I have a bit more faith in the UK and people are voting for him because they obviously like him.”

Whatever Chris is doing he is doing well because his name was trending worldwide on Twitter just after his performance this evening. They say all press is good press and the former cruise hip singer is certainly getting noticed.
