X Factor 2012: Union J ‘We are terrified! We are really, really scared.’
Union J have admitted that they are terrified about what might happen on tonight’s X Factor results show.
The boyband are favourites to leave the show tonight and even though they won rave reviews for both their performances last night and have spent the week pleading with their fans and Louis Walsh’s Irish posse to keep voting for them, they are concerned that they have sang for the last time on the X Factor stage.
After being in the bottom two three times before and being saved by the judges after their singoff pieces, the lads are worried they will fail to bring in the votes tonight and will be eliminated after getting so close to the final.
Josh told Xtra Factor presenters Olly Murs and Caroline Flack:
“We are fingertips away from the final and we want it so, so much.”
“This is the thing, no one is safe. Ella [Henderson] went out a couple of weeks ago and no one is safe this week. We are terrified. We are really, really scared.”
Awwww we feel so sorry for them.
Jaymi Hensley was slightly more positive thankfully and he raved about the judges’ reaction to their songs last night.
The lads performed ‘Beneath Your Beautiful’ by Labrinth and Emelie Sande and ‘I’m Already There’ by Lonestar and Jaymi said he found the whole evening ‘amazing.’ He added:
‘It was really good I loved it. We have had a really busy week so we were worried about our voices and about not having as much time to rehearse but it was amazing, so we’re happy.”
The band have been busy pleading for votes on Twitter and wrote:
“To all you amazing people we met in Ireland and who are from there please do Louis and us a huge favour and support tonight …jaymi X”
