We do love a bit of X Factor eye candy and it looks like George Shelley is going to be the man to provide it this year.

The Union J singer revealed this week that he has been called the love child of Liam Payne and Harry Styles by a number of fans and we can see why they would think so, just look at his hair!

Speaking of his gorgeous locks, George caused a bit of a furore on Twitter this morning when he shared pictures of himself rocking some brand new blonde strands. Some fans thought he had been given a bit of a makeover but we think it’s either a wig, or some of Tulisa’s old extensions.

She won’t be needing them any more after all, as she went back to brunette this week.

The lads will take to the stage to perform for the first time this evening and are feeling really rather nervous about the prospect.

They admitted on This Morning yesterday that they would have been lost without their mentor Louis Walsh, after the nerves kicked in during their dress rehearsal.

They said:

“He’s been amazing, he’s on top of us all the time. We are going to his dressing room and getting feedback. Yesterday was the dress rehearsal, I think it was a big shell shock for us all to be on the X Factor stage and we all came off a little bit deflated, wondering if it was good enough. Louis came over and gave us a pep talk and fired us all up ready for Saturday.”

Things looked up for the lads yesterday evening though, as they got another pep talk, this time off some lads that were in their shoes just two years ago.

Union J revealed on Twitter:

“Was amazing to meet @onedirection today at the ITV studios! Not going to lie, we were all star-stuck.. Haha! Union J x”

1D will be back in the studios tonight and while they won’t be performing on the show, they will be looking after the singers backstage and helping them with their nerves before their debut.
