X Factor 2012: Who are the final 24? Judges houses contestant lineup revealed!

X Factor USA logo

As we prepare for the judges houses episodes of the show to air next weekend, Unreality TV have put together out predictions for his year’s X Factor final 12. Have a look and tell us if you agree!

The X Factor bootcamp stage concluded tonight on ITV1 and we finally found out which artists were going home and who would be proceeding on to judges houses.

The judges managed to whittle down more than 200 acts, to just 24 in the space of 72 hours and this evening, the whole thing culminated with a number of live performances from the hopefuls in Liverpool’s Echo Arena.

There were some very memorable moments and for us, Ella Henderson and Jahmene Douglas truly stood out from the crowd, but also some previous fan favourites lost their nerve and failed to live up to expectations when they took to the stage.

Simon Cowell also made an appearance on the show, informing Gary Barlow that he would be mentoring the overs, Nicole Scherzinger that she would work with the boys, Tulisa is taking on the girls, while Louis Walsh was assigned the groups category once more.

Here is the full list of the acts through to judges houses, and who will be seen next week singing for what could be the last time on the ITV show, as the panel all choose three acts each for the live shows.

Follow the links in each act’s name, to read more about their journey so far…

i would not like them to leave xfactor.

  2. Steph says:

I truly believe that Joseph Whelan should have got through as i thought he was amazing + i liked what he was about! I don’t agree that someone like Star boy Nathan can get through (even if he has a talent) when he has been a supporting artist to many groups + has had hit songs! I thought X Factor was about giving new people a chance?

this show is becoming a freaking joke! I mean, really? Those are the best amongst all the contestants??? Jade Richards and Joseph Whelan got the cut exactly why? She is better than any in the cathegory and Joseph the same thing! What a bullsh*t…

  4. Helen says:

Cannot believe that Joseph Whelan didn’t go through and they put Rylan Clark through instead- seriously?! Ok, he may be mildly entertaining, but Joseph knocks spots off him talent-wise!! And Poisonous Twin through and not Times Red?! Give me a break guys!!! I feel very sorry for Melanie McCabe, Jade Richards and Joe from last year who all got to Judge’s Houses, then fell at the last hurdle, such a shame, as all 3 are so talented. Very cruel to let them get so far and say no again.
On the plus side, they did put Ella Henderson, Lucy Spraggon and Jahmene Douglas through, all of whom are incredibly talented and original, so happy with those at least!!

i cant believe that Melanie didnt get through

I still can’t get over how Joseph Whelan didn’t get through! Instead they put Ryan Clark through..really? Yeah Ryan may be a good singer but Joseph had something about him, not just the personality and looks, but his voice was amazing he could’ve gone quite far into the show if the judges put him through but obviously they were out of their minds!

  9. Lemonybecbec says:

I cannot believe that Joseph Whelam did not get through. All judges said repeatedly how great he was. The audience at all of his auditions loved him. Twitter and Facebook are crazy about him. Bottom line, he is the full package…great singer, attractive, lovely person, great style and the xFactor….he has that certain something special, I.e. the very name of the show. The fact that others got through who can’t sing, are attention seekers, can’t hack it and are a bag of nerves etc, tells me that the show is doing anything to try to get o viewers. Why can’t they just put great singers through to provide the entertainment. Do we have to constantly have manufactured rubbish like jedward, Chico, Rylan etc, who by the way most people record and fast forward through to the better talent anyway. How can we trust the opinions of the judges now when they have clearly chosen to put cheap entertainment value through over talent? Why has this happened, why do we the public have to watch freaky performances when we could be watching pure quality and talent?

of course this year is quite poor as jade richards went yet again and she is clearly one of the best singers in the world, not just off xfactor but i am so glad to see rylan got through, he is what the charts need, its all about concerts these days, no money can be made from cds due to so many illeally copying and downloading, and a good voice can only entertain for so long in a concert, take someone apparently good like susan boyle, imagine seeing her stand still for 90 minutes just singing, you would fall asleep.i have seen chico live many times and jedward live too and both get the crowd going which i whats needed, during slow boring singing most people seem to start playing on phones and taling amongst themselves.
