Hannah Barrett brings the fight to the X Factor tonight, when she returns to perform for the judges for the third time.

The 17 year old singer stunned the panel with her emotion and talent at her closed room audition and later impressed them again when she sang in the arena, after making the final 50 at bootcamp she’s left fighting for a spot in Nicole Scherzinger’s final six for judges houses and it’s fair to say that the teenage performer gives it her all….and a bit more.

Before her slot, Barrett tells the Pussycat Dolls star:

“This is my life you know. Everything I have been through, I am telling you now I am not going back there. ”

Hannah sings I’d Rather Go Blind by Etta James fir Nicole, Gary Barlow, Louis Walsh and Sharon Osbourne and leaves both the panel and the audience mesmerised by her vocals.

At the end of the fraught performance she earns herself a standing ovation from the crowd and the celebrities and Gary Barlow raves:

“That is how to fight for your place in this competition. That was amazing!”

The only problem is that Nic has already filled her six seats for judges houses, so now she’s left with the choice of ejecting a previous performer, or letting Hannah go.

  1. Hannah is absolutely amazing. She sings with passion - from her heart, soul, with every fibre of her being. I felt her feelings and cried listening to her sing tonight. She has the X Factor and deserved that seat in Nicole's category. says:

Hannah you are a star! I felt your feelings when you sang and you made me cry. If singing is about reaching/touching peoples hearts, then you have my vote. Gods Blessings for success and a bright future.
