X Factor 2013: Simon Cowell can’t decide between Sharon Osbourne and Mel B for judging role but Gary Barlow’s STAYING!
Woman trouble is nothing new to X Factor guru Simon Cowell, but he normally placates the women he ditches by buying them expensive gifts, such as a luxury mansion…
However, his latest lady related dilemma has nothing to do with romance in that he reportedly can’t decide who to appoint as a new X Factor UK judge; Sharon Osbourne or Mel B.
But according to The Sun, there’s at least one decision about this year’s judging panel that is now set in stone, and it’s that Gary Barlow is staying!
It has of course been widely reported that Simon and Gary don’t see eye to eye, and Simon would shed no tears if Gary left the show,
however, ITV have battled to retain Gary – in light of the fact that many viewers love him – and evidently, they won out.
But back to Simon’s problem in deciding whether to bring back Mrs O or appoint former guest judge Mel B as a permanent fixture, the paper quotes a show insider as saying, “Sharon is seriously back in contention, as is Mel — it could go down to the wire.”
The insider added, “It is about getting the right chemistry on each panel and the best dynamic.
“Simon’s focus is getting the American X Factor right then he’ll sort out the British show.
“While Louis [Walsh] and Gary are pretty certain to return, it is still all to play for the women.”
It has also been reported of late that Gary’s Take That band mate Robbie Williams is in the running for a judging role too.
So who would you most like to see on the panel? Sharon, Mel or Robbie?
For now, here’s a reminder of Sharon on the show in its early days…
