As we reported yesterday, X Factor judge Tulisa’s boyfriend Danny Simpson was left unconscious and bleeding after a 4am brawl outside a takeaway restaurant in London.

And though he’s now revealed that he’s “fine” Tulisa flew back to the UK yesterday to be at his side. She had been holidaying in Marbella, Spain.

Yesterday, Danny tweeted, “For the record im okay, 2 on 1 well done!” (sic)

Video footage of the aftermath of the fight showed bystanders giving Danny first aid as they at first feared he was badly injured.

Police were called to the scene but no charges were brought by any of the men who were involved.

Of Tulisa’s return to Britain, the Daily Star reports, “Tulisa learned her lover had been knocked out while on a sunshine break in Marbella, Spain. She flew home yesterday with her assistant Gareth Varey, 27, who tweeted: ‘Back in London, back to reality.’”

Tulisa and Danny have of course had one problem after another in their relationship, which began badly when his ex-girlfriend had a lot to say about Danny, and most of it wasn’t overly pleasant.

Of the airing of dirty laundry in the press, and of her romance with Danny, Tulisa told the Mail last year, “My world turned upside down. It was instant for both of us…

“I’d finally found happiness and fallen head over heels for someone, and then an ex-girlfriend comes out and says I shouldn’t be happy.

“I’ve spent years trying to build my career, and with one headline this girl made the public think something of me that isn’t true.

“I don’t believe in sitting back and letting people lie about you. I have every right to defend myself.”
