She may have been eliminated from the singing competition over the weekend, but X Factor’s Honey G showed that she was not bitter over her departure by leaving the remaining contestants with a note.
Shared to fans by Emily Middlemas, it read: “Dear Emily, Matt, Saara and 5AM. I just wanted to say what a pleasure it has been working/living with you all!
“You are all winners in my eyes and are all incredibly unique in your own way. I am sure you will go very far and I truly hope you all get what you wish for!
“Best of luck to you all! See you at the final!”
The ‘rap star’ revealed that she wanted to get the “right team” behind her so that she could emulate the same heights of success that former X Factor contestants One Direction achieved since leaving the show.
The weekend didn’t look good for Honey G though.
On Saturday’s show, the stage was invaded whilst Honey G performed and following Sunday’s results show, Honey G and her former competitors were hit with a backlash on Twitter after they were accused of miming.
It seems that the bad news doesn’t stop for her though after she was pulled off air midway through a Radio 1Xtra interview.
The rapper, whose real name is Anna Gilford, was chatting to Charlie Sloth when her credibility was called into question and she was swiftly pulled from answering any further questions.
Apparently, Sloth was shouted at by her manager for his line of questioning but said that “the questions needed to be ask.”
The remaining four contestants, Emily Middlemas, Matt Terry, Saara Alto and 5AM will take to the stage once again this weekend but who do you think will win?
What does the future hold for Honey G? A Christmas number one perhaps?
