X factor contestant Alexandra Burke is the boomkies favourite to win this weeks final of the TV show.

Bookies are offering odds of 8-15 on Alex winning the record deal. Eoghan is second favourite at 11-4 and JLS are in third place at 7-2 to win.

"This year’s competition looks like being the closest in the show’s history," said Ladbrokes spokesman Nick Weinberg. "Alex has been favourite for the last couple of weeks but support for her and Eoghan is beginning to dry up – punters want to be with JLS."
