Alexandra Burke - X Factor 2008

X factor finalist, Alexandra Burke has been told NOT to sing by doctors as she is about to make her debut on tonight’s first live show.

Alex has caught a bug and has been warned that if she persists with her practising she may ruin her voice forever.

Last night an ITV1 source told The Sun:

“Alexandra’s very emotional.

“She has an extremely sore throat and doctors told her she couldn’t rehearse. It’s been very hard for Alexandra, but she can’t take the chance of ruining her voice.”

Alex has decided to rest her voice until tonight’s show, but this means she will be performing in front of millions tonight without having any real rehearsals….always a risky business!
