X Factor auditionee, Anastasia Baker has blamed her breakdown on last night’s TV show on post natal depression.

The singer was seen collapsing on the steps of a Cannes mansion after messing up her song in front of judge, Cheryl Cole and Girls Aloud band mate, Kimberly Walsh.

Baker told The Daily Star: “At the time I just didn’t realise that I was suffering from post-natal depression.

“If I had I’m not sure I’d have put myself through the X Factor. While we were in Cannes I just lost it. The nerves got to me and the other girls didn’t help. It was very bitchy behind the scenes. Everyone was all smiles for the cameras but the ones that did well in the audition made sure we all knew it.

“It was really hard. I mucked up but at least I know why now. Post-natal depression is serious. My memory has been really affected by it.”
