Former reject Ashwin Abinashi has returned to The X Factor for the second year running.

Abinashi sang ‘King Of The Road’ for the judges last year but the judges remained underwhelmed.

“There is a difference between being confident and deluded and you unfortunately fall into the latter. No-one would pay to see you perform,” said Simon Cowell afterwards.

Abinashi warned the judges that he would return to prove them wrong.

“I will be bigger than you one day Simon and you’ll be coming to me for a job, not me to you,” he said last year. “I am warning you, Simon, you have not heard the last from me.”

He has returned this year and sang ‘Spirit In The Sky’ for the judges.

“Needless to say, Simon is expecting the worst but fans will have to wait to see if he has improved,” a show source told the Daily Star.
