X Factor Auditions: My Favourite Acts

On tonights X factor show a few acts really shone out for me, I certainly saw one or two that I think have a chance of making it through to the final twelve.

The first has to have been Gemma, the girl who sang ‘Summertime’ by Ella Fitzgerald. Upon hearing her audition Simon commented “You could sing the phone book……effortless!” Sharon and Louis also loved her and Gemma breezed through to X Factor bootcamp.

I liked Gemma because her audition was all about her voice. She is an incredibly pretty girl, but she didn’t try to make too much of that. She didn’t dress in some ridiculously tight outfit with her breasts hanging out. She looked beautiful and classy and her voice was amazing. That was what made Gemma stand out from the crowd.

Another act that I liked were Eton Road. I’m not normally a fan of boy bands on reality shows. The whole idea is very 90s and cliched and rarely do we hear anything new. However I would have to agree with Sharon tonight when she described Eton Roads four members as “Very individual”. Simon Cowell thought they were “One of the best groups we’ve seen”. I think this group have a chance of getting through bootcamp, after that who knows.

FROM the auditions an act whose voice I relly liked was RUDY’S from Ireland. SMUG KNOW IT ALL SIMON didnt like him personally though so another lost talent goes.Simon well knows how to make stars but he is far better at BREAKING them than making them as STEVE BROOKSTEIN demonstrates. ETON ROAD however have Louis and they ARE FANTASTIC.Rod Newcastle.
