X Factor: Ben Mills Is The Surprise Favoutire To Win!
Bookies all over the UK have surprised us all by naming Ben Mills as their favourite to win the X factor this year. Strangely enough Paddy power have also named Simon Cowell as the manager most likely to have the winning act.
Something just doesn’t add up there…..isn’t Ben in Sharons group?

ETON ROAD SHOULD WIN ”IFF” it IS really a talent contest where the best act wins,They are EXCELLENT, Louis knows he has a gem act there, as SHARON says they can do NO wrong for heR. I won’t comment on Simon as he is flogging a lost cause in LEONA who IS VERY GOOD WHEN SHE SINGS A STRONGER VOCAL BUT THEN GIVES WAY TO SCREAMING but falls flat singing softly whendealing with quiet periods of a song. Ben is fantastic – a truely individualistic voice, he has stage presence and is able to capture the viewers attention and absorb them in when he is singing – definately the UK equivalent of the fantastically talented Bo Bice from American Idol – Ben just has to win…

Personally, I cant see BEN winning, HE IS GREAT and has a big career but his voice limits what he can sing, Ive never heard anyone at all sing SOS that can come anywhere near half as good as how ABBA did, its an very complicated song and TOTALLY unsuited to BEN, gravelly shouting wont work on this song.Ben is a great performer though.Rod,Newcastle
I think Ben should win the x factor…what a voice, to win the x factor you have to have something special, Ben certainly has that, he deffinately stands out from the rest…what a star!
Ben gets my vote to win.

I really like Ben but it could be close call between him and Eton Road. Its funny as this band only got in at the last minute – by default – or Louis oversight.
But you have to look at the bigger picture. Who can you see selling records.
Actually both of them. I dont really think it matters which one wins because they are both going to do really well. Sometimes it better not to win because you get bogged down with some contract that only allows you so much freedom. Ben would probably find this harder as I see him more as a hippy so with hindsight I would rather him not win. Eton Road probably need more managing because they are very young and Louis has great success with bands. But then if Simon gets his hands on them – who knows what might happen. Probably another version of Unchained Melody. Please no.
Actually IT is going to take some good public work to stop the SIMON machine getting the result HE wants which is a win for LEONA any way possible. I think BEN made that clear despite his backtracking, however, we the public have 3 other acts there and ETON ROAD should win as they will ahve long lasting appeal, they should be making records now.TO STOP A machine you only have to switch it off,COME ON simon HASNT GOT HIS WAY TOTALLY YET,DON’T LET HIM.ROD,Newcastle
Eton Road not winning is the best thing to happen because Louis believes in this band and he will manage them and they will be a success. Under Simon I had my doubts.
God Simon is so smug now. He needs to be brought down to earth.
I hope Leona gets voted off this week and then he might learn a few things. If Simon is so dedicated to her he can give her a contract, why does she need to win x factor. Previous shows have proved you dont need to win to be a winner.
I felt sorry for Ben and Eton Road when they were in the last two. It was like Simon was playing God or something and he really enjoyed watching both acts squirm, and you can tell that he has got it in for Ben.
It has got so personal I dont know who I want to win so I wont vote for anyone.
I want Ben to win but I want Sharon to manage him, not Simon. But I know that wont happen, so like I said, I dont care who wins – because they’ve got Simon – poor them.
BIGNIKKIFAN uou are the voice of reason, I cant take the massive change in SIMON this year, he’s like a man possessed, his attitude this late in the show when ETON ROAD and BEN were waiting to sing again was so low he should have been thrown off the show, but its HIS show.As you say he’s too smug,actually he is ignorant and I too am pleased ETON ROAD wont be connected to him, I think he’d have destroyed their freshness. BEN could be managed by SHARON,WHY>??? DOES EVERYTHING HAVE TO BE ABOUT SIMON,anyway there are ways and Im sure now he has somehow ‘engineered’ Leona a win but a hollow win it will be because once this series is over I think most people will be talking about it for the wrong reasons and he may find how ‘too far’ he’s gone this year. Do you know what, let spoilt brat Simon win his little show. The general public will decide who the true winner is by record sales.
I feel sorry for Leona because she is a pawn in his game.
I will not vote for anyone but I know which records I will buy. Everyone I know is getting fed up with this show this year and I hope the general public are seeing the same. Wouldn’t it be funny if nobody voted next week. What a farce!

YES ,great to see TAKE THAT topping the charts again, so much for SIMON saying they were old hat and boybands were now dated. HE hasnt a clue on groups anyway. I read somewhere today that PAUL McCARTNEY WAS blown away with BENS ‘ LIVE AND LET DIE’ on saturday. SHARON could give that guy a massive boost by saying SHE was going to do for BEN what LOUIS is for ETON ROAD, MAYBE SHE IS ANYWAY.SIMON may win the contest with LEMOANA but lose in reality as he did with STEVE BROOKSTEIN.ROD,Newcastle
I hope Sharon does give him a contract. Anyway she knows more about rock stars than Simon does, look who she married to. Louis has great experience with bands and I am sure he wont let Eton Road down. Look at Girls Aloud.
Simon has great experience with solo acts but he does not seem to stick around for long, does he. I wonder why? I dont think he is very loyal and gets bored easily.
What happened to Gareth Gates, Michelle Macmanus and Steve Brookstein.
As soon as Will Young got away from him he was more successful, but I alway knew that Will had something special. I can remember Simon giving him a hard time during Pop Idol but he rose above it.
I think BIGNIKKIFAN has hit the nail on the head, SIMON as a casual effect in atristes careers can be beneficicial, he has the means, power and wealth to make it so BUT HE IS SHALLOW, LOYALTY ISN’T HIS THING and once bored he gives up, as time goes on that shows more and more with his acts who he eventually lets down enormously. I HOPE SHARON who seems very tight lipped and resigned this year will give BEN the future, far better her than SIMON who I wouldnt want to exclusively trust anyones future and career with.The sad thing is really until this years behaviour I HAD LOADS OF RESPECT FOR HIM.ROD,Newcastle.
ben is the most amazing talent to hit the uk tv screens in years, he’s not like anyone he’s unique and thats what we need a new unique talent!
He writes his own music and songs he’s new blood for a new era

Leona has an amazing voice and is brilliant. Although I wanted BEN! to win!!!!
I thought he had a stronger voice and if you think about it… theres lots of Leona’z in the world but not that many of Ben. Whoever can sing like that should get a million awards-Thats what I think- because thats just pure talent and you can’t gain a voice like that, you’re born with it like BEN!
