X Factor favourite Ben Mills has a whole family that he has never met and that will not be in this years X Factor studio audience cheering him on.

Bens father, Barrington Collett-Mills, walked out of the family home when Ben was just eleven. He moved to Vietnam where he met and married Vietnamese wife Phan Thi Yen Dung and had a daughter, Tran Yen Linh, now 23.

Ben told The Sunday Mirror:

“I’m not a big fan of my dad - I don’t have a good relationship with him. I think he remarried but I don’t want to speak to him.”

Ben, 26, says he doesn’t know where his dad lives, saying: “I’m just not interested.”
