Leona is a good singer. Too good, in fact, to me. To me the show is about natural talent, not trained talent and no one could ever deny she has had training. You cannot sing like that without it. Throughout the show she was likened to Mariah Carey, Beyonce and other artists. Christina Aguilera came on the radio and my Mum said, “Is that that Leona?” Good singer, yes. Memorable and distinctive, nil points.

Ray was never as good vacally as the other contestants. he’s good and can dance well. In my opinion, he’d have been better taking that job in the West End.

Oh, and I just want to say that I am exempt from the ‘teenage voters’ who voted for Ray. I voted for Ben, all along. And yes, I am 16. Not all of us go for the obvious choices, you know. I’m different and I voted for Ben because he is too.
