Daniel Evans, 38 from London but lives in Spain
Born in London but lives in Spain now with his 14 month old daughter Ana Maria following the death of his wife, Ann, in 2007. Has 2 children from previous relationships. Works as a pool cleaner and computer repairer in Spain. Daniel auditioned for the show as his wife had always encouraged him to take part.

Voted for you Daniel and was glad you stayed in the competition despite desparaging remarks from louis/cowell.

Good voice and such a wonderful guy – the only one who was gracious in defeat rather than pout or bitch about it (Austin was the worst for this). Just keep at it Daniel… you have a real talent that we have not yet seen and which is different to that which works on the X-Factor. Good luck – I expect to hear many more good things about you in the future.

i think daniel was excellent and i loved hearing his voice, wow so powerfull, id love to see him on tv again and i would defo buy his cds and by the way im 39, not and not an old person like simon thinks would be interested in daniel.

Can anyone tell me if they have heard what Daniel is doing now? do you think he will produce an album? Does he have a fan base or something for mail to get through to him. Would be grateful for any info. Merry Christmas to all.

I tell you what. It seems Daniel’s causing a bit of a stir on his My Space at the moment. He’s just put a couple of his own demos up on his page and he sounds NOTHING like he did on XFactor. I didn’t like him on the show, but I couldn’t help going and listening to this stuff – to prove myself right, I suppose. Except now I’m converted!! People should go and listen and judge him on his own stuff – not the XFactor set up. Should he be a recording artists? I’m starting to think so!
