X Factor Biography: Ruth Lorenzo
Ruth Lorenzo 25 from Spain but now lives in Ashtead
Ruth was born in Spain but has been living in the UK for the last year working for a holiday company where she does PR along with singing in some of their resorts. Ruth initially fell in love with opera but after being asked to sing for a band found a love of rock and pop music. For three years she toured Spain with a band where she met her fiancée.

i watch the x factor every week, well infact im watching it right now lol.

I thought Ruth was absolutely fantastic on x factor tonight. Especially when she sang purple rain, she is amazing. I really hope people keep voting for her as she deserves to stay in the competition and judging from her performance tonight she has a lot more to give, i definitely think purple rain was her best performance. I was surprised by Simon Cowells comments that she should stick to what she’s best at even though her performance was ‘world class’ as commented by louie. Ruth, you go girl! Axx

The blend of both English & Spanish works so well Ruth. It’s your identity, your uniqueness. It’s also incredibly sexy! Your poor mentor is jealous of you so don’t listen to her. Listen to Simon – he is spot on with his advice. He said you would be in trouble after you abandoned your true self … and … there you were in the bottom 2!

The best version of Purple Rain ever! Such a shame the British public are voting for their regional contestant rather than on pure talent. If only she could have sung Purple Rain first she would neve had got into the bottom 2. I guess next week she will be given a ” Big Diva Song ” to match her voice. As good as Rocio Jurado she will be a big star in Spain whatever happens. We are all voting for her in Benidorm. GO Ruth….

I think Ruth should go this week, I think her performance of the Robbie Williams song was appalling, she even sang off key in some bits, I always agree with what Simon says, he is the only honest one among them and everyone who enters the X Factor is only interested in what he has to say, he is the best, but I totally disagreed with his comments on Ruth on saturday’s perfomance of the Robbie Williams song, he obviously is only thinking of her two best assetts. Ruth was robbed by the British Public last weekend.
She was simply awesome.She really has the x factor – powerful voice, charisma, oozes “you-know-what” and looks amazing. If someone doesn’t offer her a record contract I would be amazed. If someone backs her – I would bet she will easily eclipse the eventual winner this time next year

A lot of people say, i love Ruth, i love Ruth, so why did she not go all the way? She was in another league of her own, she was way ahead of other singers, the show should have been over a long time ago because she was outrightly the winner, Putting Ruth along side diana, jls and all the others is like an insult as far as i am concerned, what is x-factor about these days? That girl has got heavenely talent, she always made me cry each time i listened to her, Leona never did that to me. Ruth, the reason you didnt make it all the way was because you are not british, truth be told! I love you girl, u were the best, cant wait for your album.

Ruth, despite the fact that my own husband, Simon Cowell and every other red blooded man has fallen in love with both you (you sexy thing) and your magnificant voice I cannot help but tell you that there is no better a singer than you in the universe. You are the complete package. We adore you and I cried my eyes out when you left the show (so did my seven year old daughter). I guess the British did not have the guts to do the right thing.
