X Factor: Brian Friedman – ‘Cheryl Cole has made some very big errors!’
X Factor creative director, Brian Friedman has claimed that Cheryl Cole has made some big mistakes during this year’s series.
Friedman told the Daily Star: “Cheryl made some very big errors of choice this year and I don’t think she’ll win.”
He continued: “I think Cheryl went for people who would win votes instead of the better singers, but I think she made a mistake. I would have put Ethan [Boroian] and Duane [Lamonte] through.
“I don’t think Cheryl is pushing them enough. I don’t think she is choosing the right songs.”

I think the problem is she has been concentrating on her solo performance on X-Factor and the release of her single/album. This is wrong though as she is being well paid to be a judge/mentor and she should put her acts first as there future depends on her getting it right. Cheryl knew when the X-Factor shows were going to be so she shouldn’t have planned her Debut solo single/album for the same time but she is clever as X-Factor is giving her lots of free publicity and making sure her name stays in the public eye. She said she was not comfortable getting the boys but as a mentor you have to be prepared for any of them, lets hope next week she gives more attention to the boys and gets it right for them.
Brian Friedman is completely right! The likes of Duane Lamonte would of certainly givin Cheryl a stronger chance of winning. Now, Joseph Mc is her strongest singer for the live shows. The other two are useless. I don’t even wanna get talking about Lloyd. (Huffs)
In conclusion, surely someone from Simon or Dannii’s group will win! I got my money on Stacey Soloman or Jaime Afro Archer
The under 25 boys are just not up to scratch. Cheryl has made mistakes but then when someone isn’t experienced or qualified as a mentor in the industry this will happen.
Mentors are normally people who can demonstrate or teach what they are after Cheryl Danni Louis or Simon will never be able to do that. Instead its just like having two indsutry insiders from the business side of things working out who they can sell and make massive profits from plus two attractive women sidekicks as yes people.
If spitting image was still on the go all four would become puppets.
The problem is with the judges being mentors. How can you judge fairly if you are only looking out for your own act and have no intention of booting them out, ( at the expense of ‘far’ better acts.) The judges/mentors need to start RESPECTING the contestents.
