X Factor choreographer, Brian Friedman has said that he is glad Rachel Hylton got the boot from the show last Saturday night.

MSN quote Friedman as saying:

"It was time for her to be eliminated. I definitely know that she was the bottom of the pack.

"Everyone kept giving her this pass, saying ‘we haven’t seen the best of you’. But she had been in the bottom too many times the public weren’t warming to her. If it had gone to deadlock she would still have gone."

After facing plenty of criticism for his stage shows and choreography from the judges so far, Brian has revealed that he just wants the chance to defend himself to the public.

"Dermot said ‘I wish I could give you the mike’ and I don’t have a voice on the show.

"If they’re going to criticise me I should have a voice otherwise they shouldn’t say anything. I would love to have a fifth chair next series, I don’t have to mentor, I just want a voice," he said.
