X Factor: Celine Dion Was FURIOUS With Dermot O’Leary
Dermot O’Leary has revealed that he managed to make an enemy out of superstar Celine Dion on a recent X Factor show.
We all remember Dermot cutting Celine off mid flow as she heaped praise on each and every singer, and the look of hate that followed.
Dermot told Heat: “That was amazing. The thing was, she really wouldn’t stop, and I had producers in my ear telling me that if she carried on naming every single act on the show and telling us what she thought of them, we’d fall off the air before we got to the actual results.
“So I literally had to shut her up, and just had to say something. She has that very Quebecois stare! Her management weren’t happy about it, so I was worried I was going to be b*****ked.”
He added that he had offered to apologise, but his bosses had refused, saying: “[They] were like, ‘No way. You were great with her!’”

Hah! I’m sorry but Dermot always seems to cut people off a bit more rudely than is needed- I just wish they all had the guts to give him evils like Celine did!
They are on a time limit and he has to follow orders, I’m more interested in the result than the chat so if they have to be cut short to get it all in then thats the way it is. Perhaps the judges should stop all their silly bickering and then there would be more time.
