) y’all have the joys of my X Factor Chat.. so here we go!
1. Ben Mills: Well, it couldn’t really be anyone else. Ben did an amazing job tonight, despite having struggled with laryngitis this week. Brilliant performance, spot on song choice, and he didn’t need to get by With A Little Help From His Friends.
2. Robert Allen: Robert sang You Are Not Alone, the Michael Jackson hit, but with his talent he’ll never be alone. He has such a totally soulful voice, which just shines now he’s curbed his Tiggerlike enthusiasm.
3. Leona Lewis: Her Bridge Over Troubled Water was far from her best performance, and, despite Sharon’s affirmation that it was flawless, there were problems – again with her lower register, and her tendency to screech at the top notes. But when she gets it right, boy does she blow your socks off.
4. The MacDonald Brothers: Yes, I can hardly believe I’ve typed their names in 4th place, and I shall do proper penance. Hopefully, this will be the kiss of death, and they’ll go out. With Love is All Around, they actually sounded tuneful, if a little Cheesy. I fear they will survive to next week.
5. Eton Road: I love the Eton Road boys, and on paper, I Don’t Feel Like Dancing should have suited them down to the ground. But there sounded to be something decidely weird with the sound production during their song, so I have no idea if they were harmonising or not. In all consciousness, and based on Simon’s opinions on the individual vocals, I have to assume they weren’t.
6. Raymond Quinn: Ray was absolutely dire. Livin’ La Vida Loca is about as close to swing as you can get without being swing, but he oh so struggled with the verses. He didn’t even command the stage in the way he does normally, and I feel that he’s just used up his final life.

i think robert was wicked, i also think that leona although she has a good voice sounds too much like mariah carey and we already have one so why do we need another.robert ot win totally 100%
i cant understand the voting public to put robert into the bottom 2 are this countries ears in a bad need of being washed out hes brilliant, its a crying shame it is really if he goes out
what a dam joke simon cowl is he needs to go and stay out of this dam country for good. i cnat believe robert has gone thats me finished i will not watch x factor anymore its a load of s..t
What a farce no way should Robert have gone. Sharon did him no favours with the boring boring song choice but he still managed to do it justice. Eton Road have been really out of tune for 2-3 weeks and should have gone home – not watching this ever again!
Thats the point PETER, song choices, ETON ROAD were in the bottom 2 from what IVE overhead ‘older’ viewers saying because they didnt know the song ETON were singing so voted for other acts, Last week ROBERT did a dramatic song justice, this week he had a song that required ONLY tenderness and sensitivity but did the same format as last week. SIMON ,who I have no respect for at all this year, made the right choice on the week, ROBERT has been in last two 3 times and thats how I’D say who should go home, TO be voted in the bottom 2 for HALF the finals weeks is saying something is wrong. LEONA is now also doing the same format week after week and maybe was very close to being in bottom 2 too. ONLY THE PUBLIC DECIDE NOW I BELIEVE SO LETS WISH THE REMAINING 5 ACTS LUCK WITH THEIR RESPECTIVE SUPPORTERS. ROD,NEWCASTLE
I NEVER LIKED JOE COCKER MURDERING THE BEATLES ‘WITH A LITTLE HELP FROM MY FRIENDS’ The sentiment of the song doesnt call for shouting and aggressive singing so sadly I didnt like BENS version either. WHY OVERDO A SONG THAT JUST ‘NEEDS’ TO BE SUNG.ROD,NEWCASTLE
Ray or eton road shud have won with out a doubt instead of leona. ray delivered every single time with his swing preformances, and as for eton road they entertained every body!!! leona looks like a horse and only won because simon fancys her. I (ellie) absolutly loved and still do ray and I (kirsty) absolutly loved and still do eton road. we would do anything to meet them. We also thoght ashlegh and mcdonald brothers shud have been in the semi final. to summerise we think that eton road and ray are GRRRRRRReat and shud of WON!
Leona sounds to like the stars of today like maria carey and she has no stage presence and has the personality of a flip flop she didnt move once around the stage as for ray he did and eton road she tryied to sound to much like maria carey we dont need another one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
