X Factor Chart: Saturday 10th November
So who was the best and worst on tonight’s X Factor live show….here’s what we think!
1) Rhydian Roberts: This man has got to win this show. This is the fourth consecutive week that we have placed him at the top of our Unreality TV weekly chart, and the fourth week that he has provided us with an outstanding performance. It was really nice to see Rhydian’s emotional side tonight when he performed “You Raise Me Up”, I actually preferred this to last weeks hype and drama!
2) Same Difference: I really thought that this song, for this group would be awful. But once again Mr Cowell has proved me wrong. Same Difference conquered the Scissor Sisters hit, “I Don’t Feel Like Dancing” with ease. They are one of the only acts on the X Factor that can sing, dance, act and look the part. They are an absolute cheesefest, but they are good at what they do!
3) Hope: My favourite thing about Hope’s rendition of Back To Black tonight was the fact that it was all about the vocals. There were no boobs falling out, no pole dancing, just five girls singing a song. It was definitely Hope’s best performance to date.
4) Niki Evans: I didn’t think Niki shone as brightly tonight as she did during the first two weeks of the X Factor. I liked her version of Kelly Clarkson’s ‘Because Of You’ but it lacked the wow factor. The vocals were good, but Niki is an uncomfortable performer and dancer and I think that takes away from the overall package.
5) Beverley Trotman: Technically there was nothing wrong with Beverley’s version of ‘You’re Beautiful’ tonight. She sang in tune and she looked like she meant it, but something was missing. This song requires some degree of vulnerability which I don’t think Beverley mastered. Also Beverley has such a gorgeous and powerful voice, this song didn’t show it off. I think Louis was concerned about Bev out-singing Niki last week and gave her rather a weak song to make sure it wouldn’t happen again.
6) Alisha Bennett: Alisha does not have the voice of Beverley or Niki, but she did well with ‘Put Your Records’ tonight. I like Alisha’s quirky style and it is nice to see her confidence growing on stage. I hope she did well enough to keep herself out of the bottom two, she deserves another week at it.
7) Leon Jackson: Leon almost didn’t make it on stage this week after damaging his vocal chords……or was that all a ruse to make us vote for him…..Whichever it was, tonight vocals were not Leon’s problem. Leon has a nice singing voice, and he can sing in tune, that I don’t dispute. However, Brian Friedman needs to enroll him in a crash course of dance moves. His current bandy legged, farmer Joe dance is impressing no one!
8 Andy Williams: Would someone please send Andy home! I find it a struggle to stay awake during his performances each week. I don’t know if this is because he is actually that boring, or whether Dannii is just picking awful songs. Either way, its week four and he has excited no one (except maybe the Heat readers). Time to go Andy!

Surely Same Difference are made for Eurovision after last night’s performance! The BBC should sign them up right now - they’d be fab!!!
