X Factor: Cher Lloyd lashes out at camerawoman!
Cher Lloyd was said to be so stressed at yesterday’s X Factor dress rehearsals, that she yelled at a camerawoman and stormed off stage mid song.
The 17 year old is desperate to get through this weekend’s semi finals but was having problems with both her song choices at last night’s run through. The Mirror reports that she messed up the lines to her first song and walked off stage. Her later attempt didn’t go any better and when a camerawoman tried to film her strop, she pushed her away and screamed ‘Get out of my face, I’m not a caged animal’.
One source who witnessed yesterday’s episode told the newspaper:
“Cher was singing in the morning on stage but it wasn’t going very well.
“She stopped mid-song and screamed, ‘You’ve taken everything. I have nothing left to give,’ – as if she was at breaking point. Cheryl didn’t immediately react, but then she went for lunch with Cher and they spent 30 minutes in her dressing room having a heart-to-heart. Afterwards Cher had another chance to rehearse but again failed to finish her songs well.
“She tried to leave the stage and when a camerawoman followed her she pushed away the lens and squared up to production staff saying, ‘Get out of my face, I’m not a caged animal’.
“Cheryl had to pull her away. She was brilliant and put her hands on Cher’s shoulders before leading her away.
“The incident has shocked everyone. Who knows what Cher’s state of mind will be like when she has to go on TV. She has no chance of winning it after this.”
A show spokesman said: “Everyone is feeling the pressure this week.”

poor wee thing, must be hard for her going through so much and then reading in the papers yesterday that the uncle she worshipped and to whom she dedicated her tears and the song Stay to had died from a methadone overdose. Of course he did not take drugs but somebody fooled him into taking it. excuse me have to wipe a tear from my glass eye.
i really dont like cher and dont want her to win but i think the press are going a bit far and should remember she is only 17.
And what support was Rebecca getting whilst Cher was hogging all Cheryls time?
cher really shouldnt be here now, she shouldve gone at judges houses then come back in a couple of years when she is emotionally able, but x factor only care for press and money….
Oh enough of the ‘She’s only 17′ please!’ I work with primary children from really tough backgrounds who behave better than Cher Lloyd! Maybe NOW the people defending Cher because ‘She’s only young’ or ‘Give the girl a chance, don’t be so hard on her’ or ‘She doesn’t take strops, it’s just the media making it up’ YADA, YADA, YADA!!!!!! will see her for what she really is. THIS is the true Cher Lloyd.
Cher would have us believe that all this aggressiveness is just her onstage persona…..well now we know different don’t we? How much more proof do we need? I knew these articles were true due to someone at the studios seeing it first hand….
Well, I sincerly hope she doesn’t get away with this and sail thru to the finals because that would mean that one of the other contestants who deserve to be there won’t be!
Personally, Becky to win, but right now? ANYONE but Cher Lloyd!!!!
When someone is under pressure it’s not up to us to say what brings on that pressure. Everyone is different and handle things differently, so it’s not fair to compare Cher’s situation to some primary children from tough backgrounds. Each of them are their own person and I’m sure those kids haven’t been booed when going after their dreams. Yes, Cher is 17 barely. She turned 17 during the show so I still look at her has having a 16 year old mentality. She’s putting on a brave face because she has to. It’s not easy being a white girl trying to break into the rap game. It’s even hard for a black girl. That’s why you don’t see a lot of female rappers. I applaud Cher for trying to make her dream come true while the rest of us are sitting here blogging about her. I for one would have gotten upset if I was trying to concentrate and someone was following me around with a camera. I mean when is enough, enough. Cher will not win because of all the haters in the world but she will win in the end. I hear that JayZ, Will.I.Am and Nicole S. wants to work with her. And I’m also sure that boring Rebecca with the good voice will win. Only God knows the type of concert she will have.
First off, I’d like to say I respect your opinion but I also have my opinion and I was just expressing it. While I agree with some of your points Wicked I.E Yes everyone is an individual and react differently to situations, however, Cher was booed NOT because of her singing but to her attitude on and off stage. I also believe that all the contestants knew they’d be under scrutiny while on the show and that camerawoman was just doing the job she’s paid to do! I’m totally fed up with this ‘age excuse’ as well, One Direction are all similar ages and yet we don’t hear of them stamping their feet and abusing others around them when things don’t go their way etc, as for Cher being signed by Jay-Z etc, well good luck to her. I’m not saying I hope she doesn’t succeed, just that she doesn’t have to trample on others to do it. I’m all for youngsters pursuing their dreams, it’s part of my job to help them do just that, however, I also encourage them to become positive role models for other youngsters, and just for the record, in response to you saying the youngsters I work with haven’t been booed for trying to achieve their dreams, you couldn’t be more wrong…the kids I work with have been ‘booed’ by just about everyone and yet they’re trying to become better people and improve their lot.
As for Rebecca being boring? Well I guess that’s your opinion.
You have to lay some responsibility on Simon and Cheryl for Cher misbehaving. Although she did well at the first audition, she didn’t do as well at bootcamp and she completely failed judges house, regardless of her sore throat. It’s like in school if you completely flunk your final exam, then you don’t get promoted. That’s why there was so much backlash against Cheryl Cole and X factor as a whole. Perhaps if Cher was to be more civil, then people would judge her only on her performances. Her actions give the papers more gossip to print true or not. Stop being such a big baby.
I totally agree with EVERYTHING you say Charlotte!
I also noticed last night that a very subdued Cher, along with Cheryl AND Simon where all playing the nice guy and that’s because they knew what everyone was hearing and seeing regarding Cher’s attitude. A bit of damage control maybe?!
