16 year old singer, Lloyd from Wales showed up on tonight’s X Factor and he seemed very promising indeed.

” I’m 16 years old and I’m a student from South Wales. I am nervous, singing in front of four judges and 2,000 people today,” says Lloyd, “so I just hope it doesn’t show in my performance.”

Simon: “What are you singing?”

Lloyd: “I’m singing Jason Mraz, I’m Yours. “

Simon wishes him luck and he start singing, he hits a few notes out of tune, have nerves got the better of him?

Cheryl stops the audition and tells Simon she think nerves have got the better of him and that he could be better. Simon asks him to sing a song in acapella, Lloyd sings Turn Back The Hand of Time.

What a difference! Lloyd was amazing and impressed both the crowd and the judges. He has made it through to bootcamp but how will he perform next time he has to sing along to a backing track? Could he survive the pressure of the live shows?
