It has recently been revealed that the winner of the X Factor 2005 and will have just four days after the end of the competition on the 17th of December before releasing their first single on the 21st in a bid to win the coveted spot of Christmas Number One.

Other artists who are competing for the spot such as G4, Crazy Frog and Westlife will have a 2 day start on the X Factor winner, but sources from HMV say that X Factor Fans have been asking about the release date of the X Factor single for weeks now, indicating that the interest is huge, and that the single will stand a very good chance of making it to number 1.
