X Factor: Contestants Receive Death Threat!

The unshakable Simon Cowell might have his feathers ruffled this week when he finds out that the X Factor live show on Saturday may be a possible bomb target.

It is rumoured that Muslim hate preacher Omar Bakri Mohammed has been spreading rumours that the X Factor is anti-Muslim and that police fear that extremists might attack one of the contestants or judges.

The acts left in the show are due to perform their new charity single this Saturday, a cover of Mariah Carey’s ‘Hero’. The track and special wristbands aim to raise thousands of pounds for the Help For Heroes charity which helps injured servicemen in Afghanistan and Iraq.

According to the Daily Mail, Bakri said: “Some Muslims in Birmingham are wearing the armbands in support of British troops in Afghanistan. This is a form of muadaat (hatred) of the kuffar (non-believers) against the Muslims and it has dangerous implication.

“Even watching the show – those people are committing a form, a type, of muadaat (hatred). And that action is a form of kufr (non-belief).”
